What We Serve
Ale

Enville Brewery - Enville Ale - ABV 4.5%
Based on a 19th century recipe, this traditional beekeepers ale is light in colour with fruity notes and a hint of sweetness to compliment the dry hoppy taste. Brewed using our own natural spring water, 100% Maris Otter floor malted barley, top fermenting ale yeast, specially selected honeys and pure English hops, it is no surprise that our flagship Enville Ale has been a consistent CAMRA and beer festival winner and collected twenty four awards since we began in 1993.

Salopian Brewery - Shropshire Gold - ABV 3.8%
Shropshire Gold was first brewed in July 1998. We had decided that a brew was needed that could compete with the session beers produced by National brewers such as Bass as well as other local producers. We decided to make a beer that would have a rich gold colour to please the eye, a full rich flavour to make it appeal to those who preferred a stronger beer, and a pronounced hop character to please everyone! This concept obviously worked as sales have increased markedly year on year. Shropshire Gold now makes up over half the production of the brewery and is listed as the house beer in at least 40 local outlets, a testimony to a consistent product and a keen price.

Stout

Guinness - ABV 4.1%
A feature of the product is the burnt flavour that is derived from roasted unmalted barley, although this is a relatively modern development, not becoming part of the grist until the mid-20th century. For many years a portion of aged brew was blended with freshly brewed beer to give a sharp lactic flavour

Jameson Irish Whiskey
Triple distilled whiskey like ours isn't just born smooth and balanced. It takes our carefully crafted process used over hundreds of years to get it just right. This tradition began in 1780 with the great Master Distiller John Jameson who discovered that three distillations was best for his Jameson Irish Whiskey and we continue his legacy to this day.

The Glenlivet
The delicate and complex character of the 12 Year Old derives from the height and width of stills at The Glenlivet Distillery. This expression is matured in a mixture of cask types, including American and European Oak. Maturation in American oak imparts vanilla notes and gives the whisky its distinct smoothness. The mineral rich water from Josie's Well ensures the best possible results during mashing and fermenting to form the flavours that define this expression.
