The Royal George is a busy, local, family run pub situated in the heart of Willenhall town centre.

Having been in the Donovan Family for over 30 years since Angela and Bill Donovan came to Willenhall, the Royal George is a well established and has continued to be a popular attraction amongst the local community offering a traditional friendly pub atmosphere.

At the Heart of the Donovan family’s success at the Royal George is their pride, dedication and commitment to pleasing the customers of the Royal George. Appreciation of custom is also a key to success with the Royal George offering yearly trips and annual Christmas parties to show the appreciation for their customers loyalty the year round.

Having been so popular for many years the Royal George has become a central point in Willenhall town and is a central attraction where you can always enjoy a good pint, vibrant atmosphere and be greeted by polite and friendly staff.

Willenhall is situated between Walsall and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands and the Royal George is at the heart of the town.

Traditionally it has been a small industrial town famous for its lock and key industry including the famous Yale factory, where many of the staff enjoyed a friendly pint at the Royal George after work.

Willenhall has excellent communications to neighbouring towns and the rest of Britain and Europe, being close to the M6 and Black Country Route. The main route through the town is the Walsall to Wolverhampton road.

In 1842 Willenhall had 21 beer houses and 29 pubs. Ten years later the number of pubs had increased to 38. The pubs became an essential part of the working man’s life, especially after a hard day in the factory.
